What Customers Say About Rockwell RK9000 Jawhorse:

I got this for my husband for his birthday in order to salvage what was left of our washer and dryer, which he had been using as a cutting surface. He uses the Jawhorse now for all garage things related, and he really loves it. It really does fold up into a nice neat little package, and although the "wheel" feature is quite awkward, it makes it more mobile than without. Now to get the accessories (over time), so I can save the deep freezer surface.

This is the best Sawhorse-Vise for quick help on the job for the back yard week end worker. I have two plumbers tri stands that I use all the time at my shop, one with a chain-vice and one with a 3-4 inch screw vice. The best feature of the JawHorse is the ability to clamp with your foot while using two hands to hold something just the way you want it. I love it.

I purchased the JawHorse about 2 months ago and used it twice and the vice mechanism became stuck. It is impossible to get hold of their customer service and when I called and left a message over a week ago, no response at all. I would not recommend this product at all.

This is a great item. I also bought the plywood extender. And because of the three legs, tipping it over is a little awkward.

I've used it to cut small to average size pieces of wood, to clamp together and bound 10ft pieces of PVC, etc. And while it does have a roller mechanism that lets you roll it to move it, if you have to move it over rough or uneven terrain you have to carry it. And like the commercial says, it is like having a second set of hands.

My solution has been to keep it set up as much as possible. It's got great clamping motion and seems like a solid piece of equipment. The only drawbacks for me are that you have to tip it completely over to collapse it (unless I just haven't read the instructions thoroughly enough).

At 45 pounds it's a little heavy for me. I haven't used it yet, but am looking forward to doing so.

PROS - Well constructed, easy to level, holds items tight.CONS - To pricey for what it is, vertical post holding feature only works from side of unit making it difficult at time to use.(would be better if vise could hold both from the side as well as the end, like a swivel bench vise). To much plastic.Amazon has the best price of all the vendors I reviewed with free shipping.I would buy another, but only after the hype is over and the price is about $60.00 less.
